He has been working in the community since 1995, synthesizing developmental pediatrics with a practice in general pediatrics. In addition, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at Yale, where he is able to teach and supervise pediatric residents and DBP fellows.
Dr. Avni-Singer is the medical director of Benhaven, a school and residential program for teens and young adults with developmental disability. He is also the pediatric consultant to a number of schools and early childhood development programs.
